As a growing school in a world which is increasingly interested in freediving, spearfishing and all things apnea we find ourselves in almost constant need of qualified freedivers and spearfishers to fill the ranks.
If you are an AIDA qualified freediver (other organisations will be considered although a crossover will be required) and are interested in flexible, paid, freelance freediving work then please get in touch. Role:
Working alongside a fully qualified and experienced freediving instructor your role will be to assist in general teaching, organising equipment, monitoring students in the water, safety diving and buddy diving and generally helping out wherever possible.
Pre-requisites :
AIDA level 4 or equivalent, flexible, own transport with valid driving licence, able to work independently and as part of a team, valid first aid certificate, own dive equipment.
Location:
Newquay, Cornwall.
Pay: Either paid or as unpaid instructor internship (your choice).
Working days:
Wednesday to Sunday, variable and flexible. Main course dates are wednesday/thursday, and Saturday/sunday.
Role:
To lead a group of freediving students in a 1,2 or 3 day AIDA course or alongside another FreediveUK instructor.
Pre-requisites :
AIDA instructor or equivalent (crossover required), flexible, own transport with valid driving licence, able to work independently and as part of a team, valid first aid certificate, own dive equipment.
Location:
Newquay, Cornwall.
Pay: Pay is per course, up to 3 per week. Instructors working 2 courses a week will be earning a decent monthly wage equivalent.
Working days:
Wednesday to Sunday, variable and flexible. Main course dates are wednesday/thursday, and Saturday/sunday.
Role:
To lead a group of spearfishing and foraging students on a 1 or 2 day course or alongside another FreediveUK instructor.
Pre-requisites :
AIDA instructor or equivalent (crossover required), flexible, own transport with valid driving licence, able to work independently and as part of a team, valid first aid certificate, own dive equipment and own spearfishing equipment, at least 3 years spearfishing experience would be expected and a solid general knowledge of fish species, habitats, techniques etc.
Location:
Newquay, Cornwall.
Pay: Pay is per course, up to 3 per week. Instructors working 2 courses a week will be earning a decent monthly wage equivalent.
